The Melanson Family Pets
Here's more pics
Boy, do we love a good game of "Kill The Toy" aka "Tug O War".  We also love to have a rousing round of "Boston Terrier Smackdown" in the living room when everyone is trying to watch TV.  Well, there usually isn't anything good on the telly anyway.
This is Raffy, Bo and Rover.  They are Sulcatta Tortoise's.  These fellas can grow up to 2-3' long and live for 100+ years.
We believe Raffy is female, as we have seen Bo making romantic gestures to her. They have outside pens they  enjoy when the weather is good. And sleep in the house at night or when the weather is bad. .

Introducing The Peep.  She's a miniature dachshund that was born with eye deformities.  Her "eyes" had to be removed when she was 4 months old.  She was completely blind before the surgery, so it was no big deal for her.  She gets around the house and yard very well. She's the smallest of the dogs and has the biggest attitude.  Yes, she has been spayed.
Many people ask why The Peeps eyes had to be removed.  This is a picture of her "eyes" the morning before her surgery. As you can see, there wasn't any actual eye. Just a mess of deformed tissue that was painful when she bumped them. She is much happier without that mess.
